My professional background is in ornamental horticulture and landscaping with more than 20 years of regional (GCC) experience covering several horticultural and agricultural facets including: retail and wholesale, plant production, landscaping, landscape planning and maintenance, as well as consulting on numerous landscape, agriculture, and site development projects in the region.

I prefer to live by the adage “teaching people to fish rather than feeding them”, and love to share my experience and knowledge with anyone in need or interested in listening. I am pragmatic and like to explain what may seem like complicated issues in uncomplicated terms – sometimes even a simple drawing can provide an “Ah-ha” moment.

All the content is 100% original and my own with the exception of some diagrams (and where appropriate I have credited the content creator). All of the photographs are my own. Content is based on my knowledge and experience as well as research when required to supplement the content - none of it is AI-generated.
